Somatic Yoga is a gentle practice based on the teachings of Thomas Hanna. It helps restore the body by retraining the nervous system and releasing chronic muscular tension. Through slow, deliberate movements and deep awareness, it invites a sense of curiosity encouraging you to explore how your body moves, where it is holding onto old patterns, and what it truly needs. This not only improves flexibility, posture, and range of motion but may also reduce pain, enhance circulation, and foster a deeper connection with your body. Over time, the practice helps the body “remember” its natural, relaxed state, supporting long-term physical and mental well-being.
